6476 m/21,247 ft Mera Peak is the Nepal's highest permitted trekking peak rises to the south of Everest and dominates the cut- between the wild and heavily wooded valleys of the Hinku and Hongu Drangkas and is not truly speaking part of the Khumbu Himal. There are many approaches to Mera; none are easy and some require the crossing of high and difficult passes, making a trek to the peak a real mountaineering adventure with spectacular and finest viewpoints of Nepal.

Mera Peak expedtions 20 Days IT
Day 01 : Arrival In Kathmandu.Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport, our team will receive you and drive you to Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza. During the drive to your hotel, you could see the glimpses of local Nepali market and people around the busy streets and you won’t be able to stop thinking how totally different this place is than any other western civilization. After reaching hotel, you do get oriented about your forthcoming trip and basic things to know about the place that is so new to you. You will also have enough time in hotel to wind down from your trip, and get comfortable and ready for days of great adventure ahead of you.
Kathmandu Valley: Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and is also the largest city of the country. It stands at an elevation of approximately 4265 feet above the sea level. The valley lies at the crossroads of ancient civilization of Asia, and has at least 130 important monuments most of them enlisted in UNESCO in World Heritage Sites. There are several places of pilgrimage for the Hindus as well as the Buddhists. The cities of Kathmandu Valley (Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur) are all immensely dense with ancient art, culture and traditions.
Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing.
After a hearty breakfast, we begin by another briefing session on the details of the programs with all the do’s and don’ts, so as to make the trip more fulfilling and rewarding for you. Sightseeing mythical Kathmandu Valley is incredible and unforgettable, as it involves being in proximity to many UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Swoyambhunath temple, Patan Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath temple, Pashupatinath temple, and Boudhinath. All day long, you get to be enthralled by the uniqueness of these historical and religious sites, and get to see amazing preservation of ancient art and culture.
Day 03 : Kathmandu preparation day.
Expedition preparation day, making sure every equiptments are ready upto the standard, introduction with climbing team and briefing for departure next morning. Overnight hotel.
Day 04 : Kathmandu flight to Lukla trek to Puiyan.
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 m) in the morning. This flight is surely your one of the adventurous flights made ever. After about 45 minutes, you will be in airstrip of Lukla. After a cup of tea, start trek to Puiyan. We descend through the valley to the south and will be in Surkhe where we take lunch and head towards to Puiyan (2800 m). Overnight Tent.
Day 05 : Trek to Pagum.
From Puiyan, the trial continues to descend through the valley and forest high above Dudh Khosi and crossing many ridges, we will be in the valley of Khari Khola. Passing over two major ridges; Chutok La (2945 m) and Khari La (3080 m), you will be in Pangum. Overnight Tent.
Day 06 : Trek to Najing Dingma.
The trek begins in the morning to the Pangum La (3175 m) behind the village and head toward to Hinku Valley. The trial descends through the scattered settlements and undisturbed forests of upper temperature zone. The climb is less steep and passes through the deep forest before reaching Najing Dingma. Overnight tent.
Day 07 : Trek to Chalem Kharka.
From Nijing Dingma, the trial is rough with rocks and shrubs. The trial drops steeply on either side and will reach to Panch Pokhari (5 Lakes) which is a pilgrimage place for both Buddhist and Hindus. A short descent brings into the valley of Chalem Kharka. Overnight.
Day 08 : Trek to Khote.
The trial begins with slopes and turns and dwarf juniper shrub gradually turns to trees and descends to the junction of two mountain torrents. Passing through the forest and rejoin the main river and crossing it, you will be in Khote. Overnight tent.
Day 9 : Trek to Thangnak.
Passing the forest and to a valley, a small gompa with tiny Buddha Statues in the rock wall. Moving ahead the valley to the east, you can see the Mera glacier and you will be Thangnak. Overnight tent.
Day 10 : Trek to Khahare.
The trial descends along the Dig glacier which is easy and relaxed trek. You can have excellent view of Peak 35 which is yet to be climbed. After a steep trial, you will be in Khahare. Overnight tent.
Day 11 : Acclimatization at Khare.
Day 12 : Acclimatization at Khare.
Day 13 : Trek to highcamp.
High campTrek to the High base camp from Khahare. Overnight tent.
Day 14 : Summit Mera Peak.
Summit and return to Khare.This is the climbing period to climb of Mera peak and back to Khahare. Overnight.
Day 15 : Trek kothe. Overnight tent.
Day 16 : Trek to Chetarbu. Overnight tent.
Day 17 : Trek to Lukla.
Day 18 : Flight to Kathmandu.
Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu overnight Hotel.
Day 19 : Kathmandu.
Free stay at Kathmandu Valley in the evening out representative will pick you up from hotel for fairwell dinner.
Dinner with Cultural Program: In the evening you are invited to a typical but fascinating Nepali cultural folk dance program with an authentic Nepali dinner served with unique Newari cuisines. The Cultural Dance presented reflects the unique culture and traditions of the people of Himalayan Kingdom. Authentic Dinner with the unique culture show provides memorable moment and an unforgettable experience for anyone out to gain a new perspective on the culture and traditions of Nepali people.
Day 20 : Departure.
Transfer to airport for departure.
